I am a teenager and one of my best friends and I are both very into music. We are considered gifted by our peers because we love to sing and we are in band and we play the piano. She is also an athlete like me.
Both of us are REEEALLY competitive by nature, and my friend seems like she always wants to shoot me down and lower my self esteem just so hers goes up. I love this friend, and I wouldn’t trade her friendship for the world. She loves me too, but we’re just so darn competitive!! How do I fix this?
